All classes are introduced to the study of genocide through the first modern incident: the Armenian genocide in Turkey.  Annual Armenian Genocide remembrance day is April 24.  PBS is having a special program on television called "The Armenian Genocide" on Monday evening, at 9:00 PM (strongly recommended) -- channel 6 locally.
